Job Title: Sr. Security Engineer Location: Santa Clara, CA Duration: 6+Months Contract
Job Description: The candidate will lead the delivery of projects from a technical perspective in alignment with a customer's objectives and the defined project scope. Experience in project based implementation of solutions. The candidate must have the ability to define and manage access control policies, user entitlements, application credentials as well as the ability to implement and perform privileged access reviews, compliance reporting, access control processes/workflows and other privileged account management related business processes. The ideal candidate must exhibit a strong ability to work in diverse customer environments, interface effectively and proactively with end users, administrate various technical platforms and peers while adhering to the customer service model and having a good understanding of IT Security principles relating to access control, web applications and operations. Engineering efforts involve proper configuration of the appliance/software, integration with necessary systems and knowledge transfer of the operations and maintenance procedures. Administration functions involve configuration of credential policies, alerting, RBAC, audit settings and potential third party integrations for logging compliance. Training on the platform will be provided and certification must be obtained prior to working engagements. Required qualifications: Minimum 9-10+ years experience Experience with identity management applications (i.e. Active Directory, LDAP, etc.) Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) Basic understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. Solid foundational IT knowledge Experience with both Windows and Linux platforms Preferably with experience on the following: Security certification such as: CISSP, SANS GIAC, Security+, Network+, Linux+, MCSE, RHCE or CCNA-Security. Scripting/Programming experience in Python, Perl, Powershell or Bash. Hands on experience with Enterprise Applications Hands on experience with Security Tools such as IDS/IPS, Anti-virus, Endpoint Management Hands on experience with Virtualization Technology such as VMWare or Virtualbox. Hands on experience with Storage Technology such as NetApp or EMC.
