*Job Description::*
-The job description for one of the key positions is detailed below.
-This role is responsible for the design, development, configuration,
testing, implementation, and ongoing support of Fidelus’ Domain Separated
ServiceNow core ITSM platform, creation of new applications and
understanding of various system integration requirements. .
-Collaboration with other ServiceNow System Administrators and key
stakeholders to analyze and understand requirements, then transform the
requirements into a solution.
-The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the
ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the Service Management platform and
must be able to act with a sense of urgency and adapt to changing
priorities. Mentoring, coaching and training of team resources is also a
responsibility of this role.
*Responsibilities*
•The responsibilities of ServiceNow System Administrator/Programmer
include, but are not limited to:
•Provides daily support of the ServiceNow platform; including scripting,
configuration, integrations and administration.
•Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its
applications.
•Facilitates the resolution of high severity SNOW events to minimize
customer impact. Responsibilities include participating in rotating on-call
support process.
•Performs analysis of incident and problem events to identify trends and
service improvement opportunities. Develops recommendations based upon
analysis and drives organizational efforts to implement.
•Facilitates problem post mortem exercises to identify causal factors and
root causes. Works with internal stakeholders to develop and implement
corrective actions.
•Define technical best practices to the immediate and extended teams for
consistent coding practices.
•Create and update technical and functional documentation such as
operational procedures, report requirement documents, training materials,
etc.
•Participates in design and code reviews.
•Designs solutions to meet business requirements.
•Determines scope, estimates work effort and determines duration of
development activities.
•Develop and maintain system integrations and process automation.
•Performs migration of code from development systems to production system.
•Maintain code control log and validates code migration documentation.
•Design, create, modify, implement and maintain ServiceNow reports and
dashboards.
•Generates reports and KPI analysis as needed.
•Coordinate application and platform upgrades.
•Provide deployment support during go-live for major and minor releases
*REQUIREMENTS*
•3+ years’ experience in ServiceNow Administration in an enterprise
•3+ environment experience with ServiceNow Domain Separation
•Experience Configuring ServiceNow Discovery
•Must be able to design and build applications that set business goals and
needs Proven experience implementing and customizing enterprise
applications Familiar with Service Oriented architecture and web services
integration
•Experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML Experience integrating enterprise
software systems
•Experience creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting and testing multiple
instances into production
