VERY URGENT AND IMMEDIATE NEED Job Title: Business Analyst 2/ Business Analyst (BA2) Locations: Columbus, OH Duration: 12 + Months Contract Interviews: Onsite interviews required *Rate:* *$45/hr on C2C **All Inclusive* *Need **Business Analyst 2/ (BA2) with DODD experience* *Job Description:* *Business Analyst 2/ (BA2)* *Requirements:* *- 5+ years experience* working in an *AGILE development* environment using *MS Visual Studio platform* in support of program and project management staff with story lifecycle management. *- 5+ years experience* adding user requirements to MS Visual Studio stories and adding artifacts obtained from the business to stories *- 5+ years experience writing* and developing acceptance criteria and assisting with the migration of user stories for test processes. *- 5+ years experience developing* artifacts using tools such as MS Powerpoint; and MS Excel and MS word *- 5+ years experience functioning* as a BA on a large-scale enterprise level application. Job Description: DODD operates a significant enterprise suite of applications. Included within this suite are Medicaid related applications and applications supporting health, safety and welfare of DODD consumers. Many of these applications support processes based on ORC statute and Administrative rules as well. The Business Analyst (BA) at DODD will provide program technical assistance to state and contracted information technology professionals during one, multiple or all phases of an assigned project. BA’s gather information from various sources (business, and technical teams) during the inception (i.e., development of the scope and outline of the general requirements) of a project. The BA will need excellent verbal and written communication skills to fulfill this role. DODD is an AGILE shop; as part of the BA activity, BA’s will be asked to develop and refine user stories. In order to perform this function the BA should be conversant with the Microsoft Visual Studio Platform. Specifically, VSTS 2012/2013 in order to: Add user requirements to stories; Add artifacts obtained from the business to stories, Develop supporting artifacts based on interviews with the technical and business team; Write acceptance criteria; Assisting with the development of acceptance criteria; and Manage the state of user stories from committed to ready for test processes. The BA may use a variety of tools including VISIO, Balsamiq, and PowerPoint to develop mock-ups and artifacts The BA will also work closely with the QA team to support testing processes in pre-production and production environments. In this role the BA will support the quality assurance team in the testing process. In order to provide this support the BA will be conversant with DODD QA standards, applying them as they assist in the development of test cases and ensuring that the test cases provide adequate code coverage of user stories. This activity could also include mapping user tests to traceability matrices; again to ensure adequate code coverage.
