*Position:- Senior RPG Programmer Analyst (I-Series)* *Location: Indianapolis, IN* *Duration: 6 month contract to start – can be extended for up to 2 years * *MOI:- Telephonic + Skype* *Need only USC, GC* *Job Description:* To assist in providing support for all users of our home grown I-Series ERP package. Be a part of a team responsible for enhancing, supporting, testing and maintaining the programs used in support of the business needs. *Job Responsibilities:* · *Impact on Business –* A person in this role will be a part of supporting the application and it’s interfaces to insure that business objectives and needs can be met and supported. Senior Programmer Analysts should be pushing the envelope to makes sure we are constantly improving and being innovative. This position should be a senior level RPG programmer with recent hands-on experience with RPG III, RPG IV, RPG Free, JCL, and DB2. Will need to be able to understand complex issues, business processes, own their deliverables, and be able to translate to innovative solutions. · *Customer/Suppliers/Third Parties –* This position will communicate with IT management, business process owners, and individuals that have issues. This includes the need to communicate within IT to make sure more complex problems are understood and scope is defined. This position will often times work with little guidance with the business to define requirements and design solutions. They will also be held accountable to managing their own deadlines and working through complexities with others. · *Leadership/Management Responsibilities –* This is not a management position but leadership qualities are always preferred. This position will need to show initiative and ability to communicate well with business to ensure higher quality deliverables. · *Innovation and Change –* This position will have the latitude to affect change in the organization by bringing innovative approaches to both simple and complex projects.
