You know what I mean. Do most botanists accept Hoffmannseggella as the
correct name for the rupicolous Laelias? I know RHS still considers them Laelias,
for which I don't blame them. The name has been published, which doesn't prove
anything. A recent article in
Spliting the genera, after they finish the groupings, looking for monophyletic
heterogeneous groups would do no harm to them and would please almost
everyone, so, why not to do that? Can any one answer me?

us Brazilians, but Laelia is quite friendly. On the other hand Oncidium
itapetingensis or Encyclia yauaperiensis might be hard for your.
