Dear Leo: I think a lot of us feel somewhat abandoned by the AOS. There are
still some good programs such as judging and sanctioning of shows and the
magazine is certainly not a total loss. However, I think many long time
growers feel a bit like the VICTIMS OF ADULTERY. Here they (we) have

Leo sums it up very well. AOS is completely interested in the beginner. Only
keep membership out of habit, as I said they offer nothing to me.

Just a shot in the dark, but at least it's orchid related.
I am in need of a working osmometer, one that measures by either
vapor pressure or freezing point depression. I have a freezing point
depression osmometer, but it's a wee bit on the old side and I'm not
sure I trust
Hi everyone,
I use a Four Seasons sunroom as a greenhouse. The glass is clear and during
the summer I use about 55 % shade cloth. It is getting very hot during the
summer and in addition some of the plants still burn near the glass. The
orchids I have to grow on the floor.
