[OGD] Orchid Pictures reference database update

I have just finished updating the subject database with 7,129 additional references from 52 new books and periodicals. This brings the total number of references to 138,400 from 1,541 books, catalogues, periodicals and other miscellaneous publications. The database is at

I have just about finished updating my genus names list and the hybrid names cross reference list. I sent the orchid registrar (Julian Shaw) an email with 65 questions about names that need clarification but it will probably take him a while to research the answers. Most of the questions are

Can any one explain what is mean in this listing http://los.lon.imag.net/RHS/natural06.htm by Synonym and True or False? The designation True indicates the genus name is now considered by the registrar to be a synonym. e.g. The notes column for the Ackersteinia entry says Replaced by
