Many thanks for your answer. My oldest record for Vancouver Island is from 1921, but the species was observed only in southern part of island and predominantly in disturbed habitats. Epipactis is also spreading in lower Fraser valley and in neighbouring parts of Washington state. Wojciech

Thanks for your answer. I know history outline of helleborine. A the moment I have data from 31 USA states and 7 Canadian provinces. In Wisconsin helleborine is treated as invasive; it is common especially in New York, Great Lakes region and parts of New England. Regards Wojciech
