I have to disagree with your statement, Andy, that "No-one with any orchid
savvy wastes time with the AOS Forum ".
I feel that I have some degree of "orchid savvy", and I spend a fair amount of
time there, trying to bring some logical, scientific understanding of "what's
really going on" to the
HALLELUJAH! Andy, L'il Frog and merv are on track. We aren't the only ones
who decided that the AOS mag-rag "Orchids" is worthless to experienced
growers!
I began AOS membership in 1979. I ended it in 1991. I get FAR better
information from my local orchid society newsletter at $20 per
