Subject: [OGD] Paphiopedilum sangii so-called "forma ayubiianum"

Dear Peter,
the discussion is really curious.
The name var. ayubianum or ayubii was never used officially, it was a
working title for a planned description 5 years ago. But we decided to wait
with an official description in the hope to get more informations about,
perhaps to see also more plants.
I don't know who have used the name then for this plant, but it is nothing
more then a (trade)name for a perhaps regional form of Paph. sangii. Perhaps
in a discussion the name was used but nothing more.
When you have doubts about this plant and need more pictures of the plant,
then ask me. I could take many pictures of, perhaps then you can decide if
it is.

Best greetings from Bavaria

Olaf Gruss
