Couldn't resist pointing out one obvious difference between these WOC
venues that travellers are bound to notice:

When travelling to France, you will not be treated like a criminal
when entering the county. You will not need to be fingerprinted, have
your cornea or retina scanned, or deposit a DNA sample in order to be
admitted. You will not be held for up to 24 hours under armed guard
while transferring from one plane to another, and you would not
normally expect to have your rectum searched by a uniformed gorilla
while in the airport.

Never mind the food quality ... that's trivial. There are basic
freedoms at stake.
