Last Monday (30 May), I requested a copy of the following reference :

Allgemeine Gartenzeitung 1838. 383.

**********
Peter Fowler (Alton, UK) requested the paper from the Natural History Museum (London), obtained it, scanned it and sent it.

Peter is most efficient at obtaining papers from primary sources.
For a fee, mainly to cover the costs involved, he has been able to obtain for me several original descriptions over the last few years.

Thanks Peter : your help is much appreciated.

Also, I wish to thank Erica Morón de Abad who sent me a photo of a species of the genus Amblostoma.

Indeed, in the reference I requested, Scheidweiler describes Amblostoma cernua which is now considered a synonym of Epidendrum tridactylum.

Best regards,

Viateur
