Dear OGD's and Michael <<<I came across what seems to be a fairly small (not just young) Schomburgkia labelled with the epithet "compactum" - it's about the size of thomsoniana.>>> I have seen this on clones of Grammatophyllum scriptum "compactum" originating from Terry Glancy's operation in Homestead. Small er plant, smae size flowers. The addition of refernces for each species on IOSPE is moving along. I am up to Bulbophyllum now and expect to get to "G" before I leave for an orchid adventure in Colombia in mid may. Expect a lot of new ensitu photos of Colombian orchids through the summer
