Sadly, I report the death of one of South Africa's
great orchid personalities, Louis Vogelpoel,
early in the morning of Thursday 28th
April.
Louis was well known particularly as a Disa grower
and writer and his output in the area of orchid
literature was phenomenal.
In his memory, I have created a Webpage on the
Tygerberg Orchid Group Website containing a brief
biography and, hopefully, a fairly complete
bibliography. If you are interested, this page can
