So, if somenone re-makes the natural hybrid by crossing the two parents [Arachnis hookeriana x Arachnis flosaeris], you get Arachnis Maggie Oei or Arachnis xmaingayi?
It is called xmaingayi if it is found in the wild or descended from a collected plant. If you remade the hybrid artificially, if you use it as a parent, or you put the artificial one in a show, you label it Maggie Oei. In your greenhouse or the RHS database, it answers to either name.
