With complex crosses it would be really convenient to just copy the name of a resulting parent, back up in the browser and then paste the name into the search engine. Oddly, more often than not, I get a result of 'cross not found.' If I do take the extra time to actually type the name of the parent into the search box, the results almost always show up.
Worked for me. Maybe you need to get a Mac. ;-)
Actually, I noticed that when you do a copy & paste, the name goes into the search field with a space after it. That's what makes the database not recognize it. When you paste the name in, make sure you remove any extraneous spaces.
