In the same vane as Julio's analogy between Prohibition and CITES, I remember a husky bully from childhood, who would grab frailer subjects for subjugation by the collar and threaten us with, "What did you say about my mother?"  Viateur's fascitious conclusion that Julio is in favor of the trade of illegal plants is a total non sequitur.  Please note that plants are not intrinsically illegal and only become so when designated by humans thereby becoming fair game for human regulations.  The subject is flawed human designation, flawed human regulations and counterproductive human sanctions, not illegal trade.       Bert Pressman
