I have been saddened by the news that Isaias Rolando has passed. He was a
respected ophthalmologist in Lima, Peru and active in his orchid society. I
personally knew Isaias and considered him a friend. He will be missed by his
family,? friends and the orchid community.

Dr Ivan Coll, well-known breeder and husband of
orchid grower Carmen Coll of Durban South Africa, passed away this morning after
being ill for some time. He will be greatly missed by all.

I have just been informed that Norris Powell passed away on Friday. He was one of the old timers, and operated the Orchid House for many years. May his memory be for a blessing.
