Yep, the model is by Stephen Weiss. It is his $ owl (obviously). It is
diagrammed in a few places.One of them is in the OUSA annual of 1988 page
211 according to the Origami database. I think it is diagrammed in a book
by Paul Kruger on money folds as well.

On Wed, 22 May 2013 Claire Landre wrote about the request for diagrams for
the Origami Bogota Convention book, mentioning that deadline was June 20th.
This deadline was anounced as so because of some mistake. Deadline is only
one week from now, i.e. June 1st, so hurry up!

Hello, for those who do not know me, I am the one who makes the tissue foil
that is sold in the gold mine at the OUSA convention. I made these videos
a number of years ago and had them on a DVD. I came across them again
recently and decided to put them up on you tube.
