Inspired by the thread a little while ago on here, I finally got around to
getting the supplies I need to make duo paper/back-coat paper. I had
reasonable success for a little while using a methylcellulose-water
mixture; when my mixture started getting too low for my brush to reach I
added some more water and methylcellulose in a similar proportion to what I
had used originally. Now, however, I have started to run into a problem
with the paper contracting and splitting as it dries. Possibly related, it
seems that the paper doesn't stick to the glass as strongly anymore, so
there have been a lot less little wrinkles in the paper as well.

I figured I'd ask on here if anyone has dealt with something similar before
and knows what the problem before I spend too long trying to fix it with
trial and error.

Thanks,
Nyle
