I think the style of language used should be in context. If it is an academic journal, formal grammar should be used. If it is for a club newsletter, the formal rules can be relaxed. If it is an email with friends, the style can almost be conversational. In terms of traditional models, I don't

Gerardo asked about naming convention for model names. In general, the rule is that if it is a descriptive name (common box) it is not in that form, but if it is a specific name for a specific design, then it follows the rule you mentioned. Similar to pickup truck vs Ford F150. Of course, I
