In case this hasnt been discussed yet: I just discovered a swag of papers (some funded by the NSF): http://iopscience.iop.org/0964-1726/23/9 Some great stuff, though you will need a university login of sorts to access the papers, so for those of you in study of origami for the purposes of engineering, or like me for art, very good reading.
