In my thread "Did this letterfold exist?" Diana Lee mentioned that the
letterfold I folded looked more like a tato. That made me ponder about two
things.

1. How can we define a tato, in terms of design, to tell it apart from
other origami envelopes?

First of all, I do consider it an envelope more than a purse or pouch,
which it's how it's mainly described on the web. Am I wrong to classify it
as a type of envelope? If I had to define it, in terms of design, I would
say it's an origami envelope which closes over the center of the model. Is
that enough to be considered a tato or what makes a tato a tato?

2. Are there any other existing tato that unfold completely to open?

I have never seen one, besides the "letterfold" I showed yesterday. If
there is one, can you please show it to me?

Thanks in advance.
