I have some custom CMP EJBs working with MySQL 3.23.
My datasource.xml entry is similar to yours. A couple thoughts:
1. Make sure you have removed the attribute "ejb-location"
from the hsql datasource.
2. Make sure you have a schema for mysql in the
/config/database-schemas dire
