Hi all,
Does anybody know whether it is possible to bind a RMI object onto Orion's
ORMI port or is it for EJBs use only? I suppose compatibility is not
possible because JRMP and ORMI are different protocols, but I am not sure.
Thank you in ad
Jeremy,
yes, within rmi.xml

Hello Jeremy,
Yes, the ORMI port in orion is 23791 by default, and you can configure
it in the config/rmi.xml file.

Does ORMI communicate over a particular port number,
and is this configurable?
Thanks.

Hello Vitaly,
You can find information about how to set the port to listen to for ormi
in the documentation of the rmi.xml file.
The defaults are also always specified in these documents. In this case
the default is port 23791.
Regards,
Karl Avedal
