I am looking for an asset/inventory management software, preferably open

OpenERP is a little bit of overkill, no? I just need the inventory
management (warehouse in OpenERP) but not the rest (sales, HR, etc). As for
ocsinventory, as far as the demo goes, I only see IT-stuff there, not sure
if it works for non-IT stuff.

OpenERP is modular. You just need to install needed modules without
unrelated modules. I had install warehouse management for a "stor
kayu" company before. It works well so far.
