Check the discussion from the beginning, it is indicated that nVidia's drivers
are to blame.

Hi All
I have merged Wang Rui's changes to osgParticle and other fixes that
have come in from the community so I'm ready to start looking at make
2.9.9 once more. If testing goes OK I'll make the dev release
tomorrow.
Could members of the community check out svn/trunk and let me know how

Hi guys,
There is still a bad flicker when, in osgViewer, I drag with the mouse in one
screen, stop the drag, and restart in the other screen.
No flicker as long as drags occur in the same screen.
Well, it's a step in the right direction at least, and bodes well for
upcoming versions of the

Hi All,
I've just been doing some testing and run osgparticleeffects and found
that the particle systems it's generating are all over the place, so
clearly there has been a serious regression in osgParticle. The two
likely culprits are Wang Rui's changes or my changes in support of
GLES/GL3.

Hi Robert,
All seem to work well on my Intel E6550 + GeForce 8600, either using VS2005
or MinGW.

Hi Dženan,
I would suspect these problems are driver specific rather than an OSG
bug. Do you have desktop composition enabled? If so try disabling it
and then repeat the tests.
Robert.

Hi All,
My plan is to tag svn/trunk tomorrow (Friday 16th September) and make
the OpenSceneGraph-2.9.9 dev release. I would appreciate testing out
in the community to make sure that everything compiles and runs
smoothly. If you succeed or fail could you post your results on this
thread so we can
