Japp, it is installed on both machines. And even in the same version. Now, I
have the problem even between two similar Debian installations, both have the
version of the library.

Hi Werner,
it seems to be installed: I can find libfreetype6 in version 2.3.7. On the
other machine it is 2.3.12. Maybe this is the problem I will have to check this.
