Hello Michael,
I bought and installed a Quadro FX 570 today. I still get the same error
message when I try to load using Quad_Buffer? I've got the most up to date
driver?
Look around in the driver options. I think quad buffer stereo needs to
be enabled (and isn't by default).

That was it. New machine, its been a couple of years. Do you recommend the
Quadro?
Well, if you need quad buffer stereo then you don't really have a
choice... If you don't, then I would say stay with the consumer level
cards as they're much cheaper and generally perform just

If you need to do Quad-buffered stereo, then yes, a Quadro is the way to
go. The good ones can get fairly expensive, though, so make sure you
really need it :-)
