Hello, I have just installed the current OSGeo4W using the windows installer. Previous versions of GIS software were removed prior to installation and the 'Advanced' install was selected to allow 'FileGDB' packages to be installed.
After installing QGIS runs fine. The add vector appears allow 'Directory/ESRI FileGDB' , however the plugin for FileGDB loading fails with a non-descriptive error dialog. I have noticed several bug reports regarding this problem showing it being resolved but with no clear stepwise workaround provided to ensure success for other users. Is there a location where all the requirements and dependencies for installing and running the FileGDB plug-in for QGIS are listed clearly? A list with expected paths to required files, dependencies, etc. would go a long way to making plugin troubleshooting easier.
