I reviewed and suggested some suggested some crucial improvements! :-)
Please take a look Cameron.

Thanks Cameron.
Cesium is okay to merge now, please. I worked on the changes and Omar
gave a 'thumbs up'.

Hello all,
During my work on the Quickstarts, a few things came up that I need to
raise more broadly.
The OSM Quickstart is not really a quickstart in the true sense.
I notice that OSM is listed twice on the OSGeoLive Contents page [1].
It's listed under the "Navigation and Maps" heading and the
sation.
Thanks

Dear all,
The Season of Docs program officially ended yesterday.
Phew, what a ride! Thank you all for being so supportive and helpful.
It has felt like an intense period of learning and doing - I'll be
glad to have a rest.

Hello,
I have done some work updating the 'How to document the quickstart
file' page on the wiki and the template for the quickstart.
They should go hand-in-hand (I have linked from each to each other.)
I'm not sure where users might start, so I was trying to cover
different angles of entry.

Hi,
Yesterday I closed my gitea PR, so I think the motion is no longer needed.
We did create a QuickStart template and it was merged in a PR on github (not
gitea) because that triggers a build and we could check if it broke anything
(which it didn’t).
I hope that makes sense.
Thanks
Felicity
Hi Cameron and all,
Seth G (geographika) and I have been chatting about the version number
in the docs and I want to clarify it.
At the top of each QuickStart we have a version number. We originally
thought because we'd checked the doc against OSGeoLive 13.0 that we
should update it to 13.0.

I'm in the final two weeks of the Season of Docs project. I am busy

Hi all,
I have been busy working on the Quickstarts for my Season of Docs
project. I have looked at 49 of them - Yay!
My aim has been to create consistency across the QuickStarts so that
they look and feel like siblings in one family.
I have already reached out to some of you and I want to say th

Thanks to darkblue_b for pulling me up on my lack of a branch! My
mistake - and only because I was trying to take a shortcut. Rookie
error.
I have now fixed that, and the link for the PR is actually:

I have completed my second QuickStart review. Still ironing out the

Hello,
I am excited to say that I have finally completed the first QuickStart

Hello all,
Just wanted to give you an update on where I'm at so far.
I have verified my git setup with a test contribution to the OSGeo project.
I have created a file called "_tempate_quickstart.rst" which is
effectively the uDig quickstart with embedded "Writing Tips".
I have added this file to

Hi all, me again.
The wiki has this page that includes information about documentation
for OSGeo Live:

As I understand it, your wiki moved to "trac".
I found this page:

Hi all,
I realized that before I do my dry run-though, I need to submit a PR
with my changes to the Quick Start template. My changes are in the
"Writing tips" sections.
At the moment, these writing tips are embedded in the

Hello all,
I've been working on the Quick Start template and there are a couple
of questions I wanted to ask.
I have come across the Sphinx markup :guilabel: and :menuselection:
What do we gain by using these? It seems to me something extra to
type. I understand we can then render them a particul

I have a working VM with OSGeoLive v13 on it. Yay! Unfortunately I

I got to the CLI and tried `sudo apt-get build-dep gnome-terminal`
