Battling Terrorism on the Homefront: A Proactive Approach

Whether we like it or not, the threat of terrorism on our own soil doesn't
stray far from our minds. At this very hour, Congress is working to come up
with a plan to keep terrorists from funneling into the country through our
borders to the south.

Earlier this month, you saw the reports of six people arrested for
supposedly trying to attack Fort Dix in New Jersey. Their intended targets
were American soldiers, according to the government.

News 4 WOAI has discovered a technology major cities in the U.S. are using
to be proactive and protect themselves from a very real threat. San Antonio
is not one of those cities.

REACT: Do you and your family have a plan in place for what to do in the
event terrorists attack in your area?

Learn why two men who work with the Department of Defense say we should be
adopting this technology, and how one of San Antonio's greatest tourist
attractions could cause a nightmare of a problem should Downtown be
attacked.

This same technology is called "too forward thinking" by the city.
