Byelorussian member of Al-Qaeda can get life imprisonment in his home country If the Byelorussian citizenship of the man arrested in Spain for participation in Al-Qaeda cell activity, is confirmed, he can get a life or 25 years imprisonment at his home country, a REGNUM correspondent was informed by chairman of the International Affairs and National Security Commission of the Byelorussian Parliament Nikolai Cherginets. According to Cherginets, Byelorussia has a very strict policy concerning all members of terrorist organizations, including Al-Qaeda. "We have no bilateral agreement on extradition, but we will insist on implicit extradition of the Byelorussian citizen. Recently, Byelorussia has become a member of 13 international conventions on fighting terrorism," noted Cherginets. ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Fair play?
