Look on the right side

I woke up today very depressed because:

* The stock market is at an all-time high. And valuations bear a solid
relationship to earnings, not the unrealistic pie-in-the-sky multiples of
2000.
* Unemployment is near an all-time low.
* Inflation is moderate and under control.

Interest rates are reasonable and not gyrating rapidly.

*       Gas prices are down.
* There is no health care crisis. Health Savings Accounts and
prescription drug coverage for seniors seem to be working.
* The administration has been scandal-free for six years and has set a
new tone of civility in politics.
* The normal scandals in Congress are being exposed and the guilty are
resigning (except for the Democrats).
* The Islamofascist terrorists are being held at bay abroad and
defeated on our soil.
* Border security is being addressed.
* The main problem of the country is that it has been so successful
that too many people want to move here.

Then why am I so depressed?

Because for the past six years I can't remember reading or hearing a
positive story in the news media. Only that America is on the wrong track.
Everyone hates America. George Bush is the devil. Blah, blah, blah.

I'm tired of the haters and tired of the pessimists. Come up with a plan or
shut up.

I'm voting to throw the rascals back in!
