Morocca court imprisons six on 'terrorism' charges Jun 11, 2005, 11:21 GMT Rabat, 10 June: The first instance criminal chamber at the Rabat appeal court issued today, Friday, [10 June] sentences ranging from one year suspended sentence to 15 years in prison against six defendants from the town of Sale, accused under counter-terrorism laws. The court sentenced M. K. to 15 years in prison after being found guilty of forming a criminal gang to plan and commit terrorist acts, battery and causing injury. It also sentenced M. R. K. to three years in prison, and each of T. M., A.M, J. Z. and M. K. to one year suspended sentence on charges of forming a criminal gang to plan and commit terrorist acts, battery and causing injury. In another case, the first instance criminal chamber sentenced each of A. S., H. S., A. A. and S. D. to three years in prison, while it acquitted five others of all charges.
