Dear All
I am writing with a request for advice. I must also admit that I am
feeling somewhat guilty this as it is the 2nd (or 3rd) time that I have
written to this amazing group of people and I am asking for help,
rather than offering it.
My organisation has partnered with 2 others to organise a
Sounds like a most interesting gathering -- but Patricia I am curious, Why
are you doing a series of Open Spaces when one big one would do? Presumably
all the folks who are interested in the themes you are suggesting will be
present, and if so the pertinent issues will come up. And if not -- not.

I cannot see any risk. I organized many times conferences in about your size
in a mix of keynote speaking + wishering groups for digesting, conventional
group work with presentations and discussions and for the glorious final a
day or more of open space.

No problem. Use the final day as an opportunity to synthesize the learnings
from the previous two -- and even better -- to push beyond. It has been done

Julie, I've been meaning to ask for the same thing!
Thanks for doing it,

Julie and Diane--
When I get messages from the list, the from line starts all in caps,
"OSLIST." Does it do so on yours?
In my e-mail, the line for the subject is rather short, and it is nice to
get the full subject line, when it is not too long.

Congratulations, Lisa! I hope the whole tiara thing doesn't go to your

I'm with others on this too, and I'd like to add a note of encouragement for
continuing to ask good questions of this group. We're here to help and by
doing so, you offer more than you give yourself credit for!
