Remembering Brian
Some years ago there was a discussion in the os-list about OS as an
»halfway-technology«.
I added my two pence as a poem and Brian sent me beside the list a
personal answer.
Looking back to my mail-archive I find him writing:

Hello everyone
First, my personal thanks for all your remembrances of Brian - as well
as these posts on OS-List there are dozens on the Australasian
Facilitators List, and many to me personally, too. Holding space for
these is a privilege, and challenging, as each new post brings fresh
tears.

What comes to my mind was Fr Brian's response in wosonos taipeh opening circle:
"how to further progress putting open space on the world map?" . (similar
text in my recollection). Fr Brian spoke: "if open space get's established /
institutionalized, spaces close".

As Brian's funeral is at 11am on Friday in Melbourne, I will create a wee space
in my life at this time in Perth to honour his community farewelling.
