A friend on this list wrote: "I just wanted you to know I looked up the Chautauqua, and would have liked to attend, but the price doesn't fit into my budget. I hope you have a gloriously good time!" This is a misapprehension. There is NO CHARGE to participate in the Chautauqua. There is a fee for the other conference on the Groupjazz site (Collaborative Technologies); this is a completely separate exercise. And so please feel free (sic) to come on in!
