Re: Snap to Road doesn't work with OsmAndMapCreator OBFs

The srtm file names appear to relate to the latitude & longitude they cover although the logic isn't entirely clear to me because there are some gaps in the longitude numbering. However, using this logic I downloaded enough srtm files that should cover my area, added a reference to them in the

Thank you do much. I will create my OBFs as you describe and hopefully that will fix this problem. I want to download the srtm elevation data and I've found the files at https://builder.osmand.net/terrain-aster-srtm-eudem/. Ideally I won't download all of them because that looks to be about 200G

Hi Metaluc, thanks and that is reassuring. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong with osmandmapcreator? I'm using the latest version of OSMAnd+ and the latest version of osmandmapcreator. I'll explain what I do to make an obf and would you please let me know if this is different to what you do? 1.

Snap to Road doesn't work with OsmAndMapCreator OBFs

Thanks. I got my renderer working to show rights of way in different colours depending on what they are (footpath, bridleway, byway, etc) and on whether they're a public RoW or permissive, etc. Unfortunately, this requires me to generate my own obf files with a custom rendering_types.xml that i

Thanks, that makes sense. It shows that the "designation" tag is not included but the "designated" value is included, but only for "bicycle" (see below). This explains the behaviour I see with OSMAnd's formatting. It seems inconsistent that the "designated" value is included for "bicycle" but n

Rendering Based on Highway Designation

2019-02-28 Thread Jonathan Stuart
Hi, I've created a custom XML rendering file to change the rendering of highways based on their access rights. This is generally working but I can't get OSMAnd to format the highway when access is set to "designated" or by checking the value of "designation". For example, this works: But t
