Version 2.5.3 showed up in the beta channel on the play store this morning.
Seems to be fixed in that one.

It looks like they found the problem and are patching it. I assume they will
release a new version fairly soon.

I do have the same problem.
The phone completely crashes (not only the app).
*For me I found a workaround:* It seems that when I deactivate the contour
lines plugin the app is stable.
I tried this several times and it seems to be reproducible (no contour
lines plugin: stable; contour lines plugi
It's also crashing when I try to select a search result and a saved favorite.

Today OsmAnd app was updated to v2.5.2.
Now, every time I tap on map - it crashes, making *any* navigation
impossible.
Any suggestions how to make it work again?
