Purple route line. Does the above conversation still contain the optimum method for changing the purple route line into something which allows the detail of the intended road/path to be seen, i.e. not obscured? - I would prefer dotted, not the current thick solid opaque purple. Thanks. Paul W

For some reason it is not working now. After a phase of repetitive crashes I uninstalled and reinstalled Osmand (& Brouter) The GPXR08.xml file is located in the render folder of Osmand. I've shut down & re-booted the device, and re-started Osmand. When I go to Configure map, Map style, there are

What osmand folder are you using? There are at least 3 possibilities, in the /data , /sdcard , or /sdcard1 (external). You probably have your files in the /data/(...something...). Check if your GPXR08.xml file is placed inside the folder osmand is really using ;) -- Cumprimentos, D.er Hugo Bar

The "\osmand\rendering." is the "old" storage location as used by earlier versions of OsmAnd. Now that you did a new install, OsmAnd switched to the current (pre android 6.x that is) installation path which is "Android\data\net. osmand.plus\files". Simply copy that GPXR08.render to the new locatio
