I am trying to do the same.
My Data Storage Folder is:
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/net.osmand.plus/files
Inside that "files" folder there is a couple named "tiles" and "tracks",
both empty though.
I managed to import my Favourites sending them through email and importing
them onto
Additionally, there are several apps, that can do backup of currently
installed apps. For example: ES File Explorer (Play), OpenAPK (Fdroid) and
a number of others.
These can backup the installed apps on the old phone (without data). You
can then copy the whole folder with backups and install th

phone.
Then restart OsmAnd (swipe it away in the recent app list, and then open it
again).
Then go to Settings -> Configure Map and make sure Contour Lines and
Hillshade layer are enabled.
