planet.new.osm.gz

You'd have to do a
bin\osmosis.bat --rri --simc --wxc update.osm.gz
or if you want to apply it to a planet file directly,
bin\osmosis.bar --rri --simc --rx planet.old.osm.gz --ac --wx
planet.new.osm.gz

I am trying to update a planet file for my first time using the following
under windows.
bin\osmosis.bat --wxc update.osm.gz
But get the following. Hopefully someone can shed some light on my problem.
In my configuration file I am using the following
baseUrl=http://ftp5.gwdg
