I have an off-site backup system that I want to install an agent on. The
Problem is that the machine is connected to the internet via a NAT on a
DSL-box that only gets dynamic IPs from the provider.
My question is: What should I insert at the IP part of the manage_agents
script for that

I haven't tested this, but I would think that if you put the uptime
command in the ossec.conf on the OSSEC agent (and restart it) it would
then report the output of the command to the OSSEC server.

configuration. For example varius checks on a specific host run at
different intervals ?

Yes I got it to work eventually , get the agent.conf working that is.
About the agent-control commands , I can query for information the
Windows agent but I cannot restart it .
Active-response must be enabled for this ?
