I have downloaded the same version of the latest JDK 17 (openjdk 17.0.6
2023-01-17) and both Java unit tests pass just fine.
So I am at a loss for what might be happening on this build machine. Maybe
still somehow the files from multiple JDKs get mixed up (would it be
