Which is your inicial version before upgrade process ?
If you are working with 2.2.7 version before upgrade to 2.3.1 version you
need upgrade to 2.2.8, 2.2.9 and finally version 2.3.1
Are you doing it ?

Could this be an issue with mysql 4.1? I tried upgrading mysql from
4.1.18 to 4.1.22 and tried the dbupgrade to 2.3 for otrs and it fails
with the same errors at the exact same lines...either a limitation in
mysql 4.1 or a setting that I don't have enabled. I looked at the
software reqs for otrs
