I read their announcement as it being power to the specific device that we’re
connected to rather than a more general issue.
Others with 10G services in THN seem to be unaffected, so presumably it was an
issue with power to a single device or maybe a handful of particular devices.

Yup, just seen our IP transit ports in THN go physically down.
Last time this happened, ISTR it was a problem with the fibre feeding the ASR
9000 nV satellite exetender things that they use for aggregating 1G services.
