*REQUIREMENT DETAILS:* LOCATION: NY DURATION: 6-12 MONTHS YRS. EXP: 7-10 YRS Looking for an individual who will be responsible for the migration of existing mainframe application databases to a distributed DB2 LUW platform. *Specific Responsibilities: * Rapidly understand current DB2 Z database structures and migrate/redesign to distributed platform. Work closely with team members. Interface with various downstream Brokerage Firm Wealth IT teams. Participate when necessary in downstream conversion opportunities. *Essential Requirements: * BS Degree and 7 or more years of experience including conversion, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of projects using Informatica, DB2 Z, DB2 LUW, Java, UNIX scripting. 5+ years of programming experience in a Mainframe environment. Experience with Mainframe to Distributed platform conversions. Advanced knowledge of Informatica Team player and proven ability to work under pressure and meet project dates. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with others.
