Position: Sr. Clinical Data Manager Location: NJ Duration: 6-12 months Responsible for driving all phase I-III Data Management activities (DB start up through DB lock) for at least two Neuroscience clinical trial studies. Represent DM as a key member of the clinical study team; support project goals/objectives that may include: PCS and Protocol review; supervision of CRF and DB development; manage paper and EDC studies, oversee activities of off shore DM staff as related to query management, Data validation document creation, SAE reconciliation, and study specific coding of AEs, Medical History and Concomitant Medications. Establish, monitor, and deliver on key milestone timelines; ensure quality of data management deliverables, review or generate patient profiles/ireview data listings. Create Data Management Plans, and other essential DM documents. *QUALIFICATIONS: * At least 8 years as a generalist DM with experience in management of study start up to DB locks activities. Pharma experience is a plus. Knowledge of CliniTrial databases and managing Electronic Data Capture studies preferred. This person should have a Bachelors degree in the area of life science or a related disipline. Therapeutic knowledge in the area of Neuroscience is desired, as well as phase I-III DM experience. Excellent written and oral communications skills, and proven ability to meet demanding timelines is key, and the ability to thrive in a fast past team environment is beneficial. Knowledge of medical terminology is also important to a candidate’s success in this position. The candidate must demonstrate a working knowledge of understanding Clinical trial and DM specific SOPs and SWPs. She or He will act proactively and assertively when interfacing with cross-functional teams or vendors and dealing with issues that may impact data quality or timelines of clinical trial studies.
