Position: SharePoint MOSS developer Location: NJ Duration: 6 Months *Job Responsibilities:* Senior MOSS developer/consultant with 7 + years in IT and 3 + years experience in design, coding, implementation, testing, administration and maintenance of SharePoint (MOSS 2007) sites. The developer position is responsible for ensuring that our software solutions are implemented in an efficient manner and ensures the satisfaction of the users by providing exceptional application technical support, by researching issues, and by problem solving. This role requires significant communication and interaction with business users and vendors throughout all project phases. In addition the candidate must have the following abilities: Ability to work with minimal supervision in the performance of assigned tasks; and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks and to work under the pressure of deadlines. Must have a solid understanding of the disciplines as they apply to the MOSS 2007 platform; users and permissions, layout and master pages, site definitions and templates, content types, web parts, workflows, policies, document and records management, dash-boarding and business intelligence. *Job Requirements:* · Must have SharePoint development experience in a business environment. · Expert-level competency with SharePoint technologies, databases and web- related technology, web parts, workflow, SharePoint Designer 2007, browser based forms via InfoPath 2007 and form services. · Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, VB Net, ASP, JavaScript, style sheet/CSS, AJAX, XML, HTML, DHTML, XAML, and XSLT. Experience with PowerShell, WSPBuilder, and stsdev a plus. · Experience with Visual Studio 2005/2008, SQL 2005, and .Net framework 2.0/3.0/3.5, Windows 2003, IE 6.0, IIS 6.0. · Expert in SharePoint security model and administration, Shared Service provider including profile import and search. · Experience in developing technical specifications, data flow diagrams, application flowcharts and interpreting business requirements. · Migration experience from SharePoint 2003 to MOSS is a plus. · Experience using 3rd party products for workflow, customization, and migration is a plus. · Experience following an SDLC methodology and sound quality assurance practice is needed. · Microsoft certification in .NET and MOSS technologies is a definite plus.
